The Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies provides an in-depth and sophisticated understanding of essential Islamic disciplines. Develop deep expertise in Hadith methodology, critically analyze Hadith literature, and gain a thorough understanding of Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ teachings. Refine your skills in assessing the authenticity and relevance of Hadiths and their application in Islamic law and theology. This program offers extensive knowledge and specialized training in Hadith Sciences, preparing graduates for influential roles in Islamic education, advanced scholarly research, and transformative community leadership.

Achieve mastery in Islamic legal principles and apply them to contemporary challenges while exploring the evolution of Islamic legal schools. Develop a deep understanding of fundamental Islamic jurisprudence and learn to navigate the distinctions between various legal traditions. Admission Requirements

1: Copy of Valid Passport or ID: Please upload a clear and high-resolution image of your valid passport or photo ID to verify your identity.

2: Most Recent College or University Diploma and Transcripts: Applicants must provide their undergraduate diploma and official transcripts from their most recent college or university..

3: For Track 1 (Master’s Degree Holders): Applicants must hold a completed master’s degree and provide official transcripts from their graduate institution

4: For Track 2(Bachelor's Degree Holders): Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree. Official transcripts must be submitted.

5: Personal Statement: Submit a personal statement detailing your interest in the program, your career goals, and why you believe you are an ideal candidate. Your statement should highlight your motivations, how your background aligns with the program’s focus, and how this program will help you achieve your professional and academic aspirations."

9 : Additional Requirements for Applicants without a Background in Islamic Studies: If your undergraduate or graduate degree lacks coursework in Islamic Studies, you must fulfill the admission requirements by completing four undergraduate-level courses in foundational Islamic Studies topics. You may complete these courses at your own pace, or, if you have substantial prior knowledge, you may opt to take proficiency exams to demonstrate your understanding.
